When you're past roughing it but still love camping. Think of this as more of a mobile holiday home where you have the luxury of waking up wherever you want to. When rain, doesn't mean discomfort, and when you get up after a few drinks around the fire you have a bed that you're actually looking forward to sleeping in.
Then in the morning, you can always pretend you've had a rough night's sleep if makes you feel more at ease with the poor sods who've just crawled out of a tent and are still trying to stand up straight. Just don't talk about the toilet, shower, and airconditioning at your disposal. Oh and try and think up how you got that mug of latte in your hand, and wipe the froth off your top lip.
